This Day in History
Friday, February 9th, 2007Up… sorta
Thursday, February 8th, 2007Well I got everything back up, but I’m not happy. I still have some fairly ugly stuff going on behind the scenes to make my theme work with the admin section over ssl. There are a couple of admin over ssl plugins that are supposed to make that unnecessary, but they don’t seem to be working at all. I’m not sure why this is not a developer priority sending login info in the clear is a real no no. Oh well, I guess I’m not willing to put up so I should shut up. Everything is up again for now… we will see if it stays that way.
In Flux
Wednesday, February 7th, 2007This site is in major flux right now. I just moved everything back onto a Slackware 11 box after having it all on a fedora machine for a while. I thought the fedora system would be easier to maintain, but I was dead wrong. Slack just works. During the migration I decided to move all of my email over to Google Apps for your domain which is growing on my preety quickly and I will post all about that once I get the migration all done. Anyway, the webserver is up again, but I don’t have wordpress configured to my liking, once I get that done I will put back up the theme and photo galeries.
