Ok, so no updates in a while. I’ve been busy with my new job as the Director of Institutional Research and Information Technology (I know, my title is awesome!) Anyway, I have nearly finished developement on our Gradaute Application so I finally have some time to get back to the importatnt things.

I know the image gallery is broken, I broke it. I just haven’t had time to fix it. I think I’m switching from wordpress to drupal anyway so I haven’t really taken the time to see what went wrong.
On June 11, 1942, the United States and the Soviet Union signed a lend lease
agreement to aid the Soviet war effort in World War II. This was a result
of Hitler breaking his word and invaded the Soviet Union.
On June 5, 1968, Senator Robert Kennedy is shot at the Ambassador Hotel in
LA after winning the CA presidential primary. Kennedy was shot several times
by the 22-year-old Palestinian Sirhan Sirhan.
On May 24, 1899, the first public parking garage in the United States was
established in Boston, Massachusetts & was advertised as a “stable for
renting, sale, storage, and repair of motor vehicles.”
On May 21, Charles A. Lindbergh landed his single engine plane entitled the
Spirit of St. Louis near Paris, France, completing the first solo airplane
flight across the Atlantic Ocean. It took 33.5 hours.
On May 9, 1960, The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approves the 1st
commercially produced birth-control bill-Enovid-10 ending a struggle that
began in 1916 by Margaret Sanger.
On May 7, 1915, during World War I the passenger ship the Lusitania is sunk
by German submarines off the coast of Ireland. The boat sinks in just 20
minutes killing 1,198 people including 128 Americans.
On May 2, 1945, approx. 1 million Nazi soldiers lay down their arms as part
of the Nazi unconditional surrender & in Berlin the Soviets take 134,000
German soldiers prisoner – ending WWII in Europe
